The Light Cream

I have tried so many moisturizers, from high end to drug store and everything in between. My skin tends to be on the oily side and so I prefer a lighter texture when it comes to moisturizers. This one is perfect and absolutely evens out skin redness and reduces the appearance of my pores (because this moisturizer doesn’t make me oily). I am also acne-prone and this does not make me break out and I feel it also is soothing on any active pimples. Love this moisturizer!!!

This is comparable to the La Mer soft cream. Big fan.

I really enjoyed the packaging of the cream. It was very luxe. The cream itself was of a gel like consistency, wgich is good for me since i have extremely oily skin and live in a very humid environment. A con I found is that it had an almost automotive smell to it...it reminded me of going with my dad to Auto Zone when he needed to get parts. The smell does not linger however, which is good. Once the cream is on, you need to make sure you let it sink into your skin for a good 5 minutes before putting other products on top. If you don't, it may peel up. Yet, there is something beautiful about my makeup when I have this cream on that I can not explain. It looks flawless and lasts all day.

This is lightweight and feels like a mixture of a serum and moisturizer. It worked well on my oily t zone, but I need a heavier moisturizer for the rest of my face. I wore it a lot on my nose under foundation and it kept my makeup from getting very oily during the day.

I tried it at night the first time and noticed just as its name is a very light cream. For nights, I prefer to use a richer and thicker moisturizer. Augustinus Bader The Light Cream is the perfect moisturizer to use under makeup. It dries quickly and is matte. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling and does not affect the foundation application. Is the Best moisturizer I had ever used for under makeup...excellent!

I received this product for free for testing purposes. I was really excited to try this much hyped product as I know it’s very popular with celebrities. It did the job but wasn’t perfect for me. This is a lightweight cream moisturizer that claims it “hydrates, balances, visibly renews, and protects while improving the complexion's appearance and preventing unwanted shine”. I have combination skin and usually require a slightly thicker moisturizer. I definitely saw that it was mattifying and provided moisture but not enough for this skin! My complexion did look a bit better when used so maybe if I used it longer, I would see better results. I didn’t use this under makeup so can’t comment on how it combines with foundation, etc. Overall, I liked this product but needed a thicker formula for my skin type. I think over time, it could do as it claims. I am not sure it’s worth the cost though at $175 per 1 oz/30ml. Also, the packaging is beautiful but why have a rounded bottom!? You would either have to store it upside down or laying on its side.

I received this product free for my honest review. I love this light cream I have noticed a difference in my skin and the lines and wrinkles on my forehead disappearing. My face looks more youthful, radiant and soft. I’m so happy I received this product to review. This is not something I would normally purchase only due to the high cost but it is worth it!

It’s very light weight. Almost more of a gel than a cream. It feels almost like a serum. I do not recommend if you have very dry skin. I don’t have dry skin but this does not feel moisturizing enough- especially if I skip a serum. It’s not greasy at all and goes on smooth. I haven’t noticed any difference in skin appearance. If you’re on a budget, I’d recommend something cheaper.

Only moisturizer that doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin or cause breakouts. Very light and luxurious, yet evenly moisturizing. Unfortunately, worth every penny!

I found this cream for $65 (1oz) at a discount place so I decided to try it. I wanted the rich cream and will give it a try at some point but this is my 2 day review of this cream. I’m older with normal to dry skin but the description says this is for dry skin. There is nothing special about it to be honest and it pills. There must be silicone or something similar because it pulls and I’m not even wearing makeup. I’m gonna try to return it.
