I was suffering from SIBO. Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. I had terrible bloating and symptoms similar to Chrons disease. I used this prebiotic product under the advise of my Doctor. I've tried few probiotic brands but nothing worked. I tried the other probiotic product from this brand first and decided to try gas defense one too. These probiotics from digestive advantage improved my digestion significantly. Highly recommend trying if you have IBS.
The Schiff, Digestive Advantage®, Daily Probiotics I needed to ferment Dr. Davis' Super Gut SIBO yogurt was out of stock so I purchased this Schiff, Digestive Advantage, Daily Probiotics + Gas Defense which has the same B. coagulans GBI-30, 6086 at the same 2 billion CFUs, it worked great.
This probiotic seems to be very helpful. Ingredients are good and the packaging easy to use. I feel they helped me with my gas situation and they benefited me. My digestion seems to improved and they didn’t upset my stomach. I didn’t notice any taste as I swallowed them whole. I highly recommend this probiotic and will definitely purchase more.
I have chronic gastritis and constipation. I’ve tried a huge number of prebiotics and enzymes; this really helps with digestion and resolves bowel issues.
The active probiotic in this product is BC30, and it is on my very short list of strain that actually works for better bowel movement for me.

It's a great product. I bought it for gas relief. Saw another commenter talk about making yogurt. It is possible with this strain (not the easiest), but this specific product contains enzymes, which makes it unsafe to make yogurt. I made it, and it smelled like sulfur or like spoiled milk. Very disgusting. Please purchase the correct version if you want to make yogurt.
