As always Stonewall Kitchen Cornbread Mix is a great quality product with good ingredients and a great taste. I admit I used another boxed cornbread mix for years until I tried this, it's flaky and tender and holds together well. The package is just enough to make a pan sized loaf.
This cornbread mix truly exceeded my expectations and turned out absolutely delicious. It was incredibly easy to prepare, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I was honestly surprised by how rich and satisfying the flavor was, especially for something so quick to make. It’s easily the best cornbread we’ve ever had at home. It’s perfect for breakfast, but not only that—it pairs great with both sweet and savory toppings, which makes it really versatile. I also love how convenient it is to prepare such a tasty treat in such a short time. We’ll definitely be coming back to this mix again and again—it’s truly fantastic. i like the package and taste , but i failed to make the perfect shape of corn bread .
I had always wanted to try cornbread, so I bought this and the gluten-free version. I made this wheat version first - so sweet! I didn't expect cornbread to be sweet! But after asking my US friends learned that the sweetness depends on the area of the US it's made in. The gluten-free version is less sweet, and therefore I prefer it. This was very easy to make with egg replacer powder and oat milk - I needed to add more liquid than the ingredients suggested - and when baked according to the instructions, it turned out very nice.
Again, you can never go wrong with a Stonewall product. I gave this out to family and friends for Christmas (Stonewall even makes a gluten free mix), and they all loved it!

This cornbread was a nice balance of sweet and salty. It reminded me of a cornbread I have had at restaurants in the U.S. It is extra good with some butter on top when it is still warm. I recommend it.
It's good to have this in the pantry. Comes in handy when I need to make some cornbread as a side or to satisfy my craving! Portion is ideal and good for baking together with kids.
