Unfortunately, this crab meat was quite disappointing. The flavor was very bland and lacked the natural sweetness and richness that good crab meat usually has. The aroma was also not very pleasant - it had a slightly muddy, almost swamp-like smell that made it less enjoyable to eat. The texture was soft but somewhat unremarkable, and overall it felt more like a basic canned ingredient rather than something you would want to enjoy on its own. I have tried several other canned crab products before that tasted much fresher and more flavorful. It might still work if you mix it into dishes like crab cakes or dips with strong seasonings, but by itself the taste was quite underwhelming. Sadly, this is not a product I would buy again.

This is some of the tastiest canned fish I've eaten, right size, right texture, great taste, easy to use / eat right out of the easy open can. Simple ingredients with little need to mask the flavor by adding anything, you know it's quality seafood that smells fresh and has fresh composition, great for my diet and beneficial for my health. Perfect size package.

It's certainly not fresh crab, but it's also a LOT less work. For those quick and dirty crab dishes (rangoons, etc.) that don't call for lump/fresh crab, this is a great and easy option to keep on your pantry shelf for a quick appetizer to wow.

I was so happy to find crabmeat on the website as where I live you cannot really find seafood apart from squid and octopus. So I immediately bought three cans. The cans were bigger than I expected too, so that was a bonus. This is great for salad, soup and light and healthy. I'll just have to find more recipes. Will definetly buy again!
