Xylitol is a plant based sugar I use to make tea. It has a low glycemic index and helps to reduce oral cavities. It's best to combine this with stevia because too much xylitol can upset your digestive system. I only use half a cup in a picture of tea. Great quality and you can bake with it, as well. This time I wanted to try taking small amount of xylitol after meals to maintain healthy microbiome and improve gum health. This 1-lb package is just the right size and should last a while. The only ingredient is pure xylitol from plant source, and quality tested, The price was a bit less expensive without having to purchase a huge bag.
