no aluminium, pure product from a cooperative. recommended for pure ingredients and ease of use.
I have been looking for a good organic baking powder with none of the harmful ingredients that most baking powders have. It was difficult to find in stores, even health food stores, so I am happy to have found it here. I have used it in baking different items and it seems to work perfectly well.
We plan to make tortilla at home with this with the einkorn flour!
I had been using a store brand for years and never considered the aluminum in it. We have been slowly making healthier swaps and I have always known frontier co-op to have high quality ingredients. This works well in all of my baking and knowing it’s healthy for my family, reassures me.
I like that I can order this bulk baking powder instead of those little cans. This is fresh & works great for baking.
I like that there's an option to buy bulk products from Frontier. I am regretting buying such a large bag as I don't think I'll go through it as fast as I initially thought. The shelf life of baking powder is important to consider in baking as the older it gets, the less effective it'll be for creating that rise in baked goods.
Made pancakes with this stuff and they ended up being crepes because the baking powder didn't work. The expiry date had a couple of years left to go. Then I used store bought Dr Oetker Baking Powder and the pancakes rose perfectly. I'll stick with Bob's Red Mill Baking Powder.
This seems like a good quality baking powder. However, after use, I realize I have a reaction to baking powder. I was hoping this brand, I would be able to tolerate, but I couldn't.
Great amount, clean ingredients, the package is very large for the amount
