Well, I loved dulse more than this. Dulse is more delicious and melts in mouth but this sea kelp is so hard to even cut, its hard like a cloth. I guess it is better to maybe grind it or add hot water to it to expand and gets more soft.. I love to add it in salads and soups too. ps: had to transfer it to another plastic bag after my cat attacked the old bag
We really like kombu as a natural source of iodine. I break off a piece of this a little bigger than my thumbnail to give to each of my kids to make sure they’re getting enough iodine. A great cost-effective way for iodine! Kombu is naturally extremely high in iodine.
This brand makes some great products and this combo is no exception. In comparison to the stuff you get at supermarkets and speciality stores, this is just so much better.

Great quality. Simply one ingredient. Will be using it to supplement for my mineral needs. Good spice. I thought the quantity/size would’ve been less.. but it’s sufficient for my diet .. its benefits can be found online. I would recommend it. Doesn’t have a foul smell .. the package arrived quickly ..
Use a little bit in soup, soak in clean water and cut in small pieces, use the soaked water for the soup, no need for adding salt. If you have a bathtub, I use 1/6 kelp and 1/2 kilo of Celtic sea salt, makes you relaxed because off all the minerals, especially magnesium, iherb sells quality Celtic sea salt, try it before bed, the magnesium makes you relaxed. Enjoy it.
I really don't have a favourite, the best part is that it is from the clean waters of Maine. I feel that supplements from America are better tested and I feel safer knowing that. The 2011 Pacific accident is still spilling out into the ocean and feel a little better this is from the other side of the ocean. Not that it doesn't all get mixed around, but hey, let's be cleaner in all the world's oceans.
Both ramen and hot pot. This kombu helps to infuse a neutral flavor for hot pot or ramen with noodles. It's not got any hint of fish.
