Flax Oil with Essential Omega-3's, 250 Softgels

About two years ago, I took flax oil for the omegas but noticed it made my skin silky smooth. I stopped taking it for about a year. A few weeks ago, my menopausal skin was so dry and monster-like that I hated even scratching, as I'd have to feel my own skin! When I couldn't stand it any longer and no lotion would help, I bought more flax oil. After a couple weeks of 6 capsules a day, my skin is soft and silky smooth again--and I keep running a hand along my arm, just to feel it. (Not in public, of course ;-)

I have previously been taking Omega's 3 & 6 in fish oil form, but didn't like tasting it later. So far, this is easier on my stomach and from all I've read, offers the same heart health protection as well as others benefits as the fish oil based products. Still too soon to notice any other benefits.

I take this supplement. Together with Omega 3 fish oil. Very useful for the heart, for hair, for skin. Works as an antioxidant. For blood thinning.

I love that this product exists in a capsule form. I don't drink smoothies where I can add flax for my omegas. I also do not consistently like to eat the same things on repeat so even though this capsule is on the large side I have no problems swallowing it or digesting it. It doesn't repeat on me. I love that a I am doing something positive for my health everyday that as simple as a capsule.

I have been using these capsules for years to support my health. They are effective. The capsules, though large, are easy to swallow (and I'm pill-swallowing challenged) thanks to how soft/smooth they are. Now is a brand I trust and I appreciate that they are vegan and high quality. I highly recommend.

Omega 3 from flax oil (rather than fish) is good for skin, hair and nails. The NOW brand is high quality and affordable with clean ingredients and decent packaging. The pills are slightly big to swallow but they need to be large to get a good dose. Haven’t noticed a difference yet but I’ve only just started taking it.

I originally bought this for myself, but later noticed the capsules are gelatin-based, so it’s not suitable for vegans. Gave it to my dad — he’s been taking it daily and feels good. No fishy smell, easy to swallow, and a great plant-based omega-3 alternative for non-vegans.
