I had never used or tried cream-to-powder foundation. But wow, I will definitely never go back to liquid or powder. This foundation is light, creamy and goes on smoothly and evenly. Leaves your skin looking flawless and doesn't even look like you have makeup on. It spreads evenly and absorbs right into your skin! It also lasts all day without getting greasy or shiny! I LOVE IT!! Thanks MAC...best foundation I've ever used.

I really liked the way this product looked on, but within three days of use, my face was covered with 15-20 new pimples. It made my skin feel like it was burning when I put it on. I did not read the ingredients carefully, but I have worn MAC powder foundation for 10+ years with no issues, so I thought this would be no different. This stuff's top two ingredients after water are dimethicone and synthetic wax. Yikes. It contains Methacrylate and other forms of gooey things that clogged my pores, like PEG (polyethylene glycol), too. Do not put this on your face if you have sensitive skin, unless you want a quick case of acne.

I purchased this as I wanted pretty much what the name says, a compact foundation which was a cream but had a powder finish. I purchased this in store so was color matched by an associate. My first issue is the color is not my shade. It looked good in store with everything she did but on its own it does not work. It is too orange. I wish they had an olive shade. My second more important issue is the formula itself. It applies extremely patchy. I've tried different skin prep and it always looks cakey and highlights every pore. Unfortunately I purchased it a bit before travelling and by the time I got back it was too late to return it. Now I'm stuck with a product I can't use. For reference I have normal skin, not oily not dry.
It was the wrong item the Lancôme rep gave me spice there was no one at the Mac dept. I just though they changed the package but I returned the foundation 2days later.

First time purchasing this product and I can truly say I love it. Application process is alot easier then other products I used one step process and I'm done.
