Sneakers are good for hiking. Bottoms have good grip. I ordered the wide width and that gave some extra room.

So Far So Good: I did a short hike in these and they felt good. I am normally a size 9 in running shoes, but had to size up to a 9-1/2 on these. My daddy toe was hitting the front of the shoe with the size 9. My first trail run will be in a few days when I head up to the mountains. I think they will work out nicely.

Great shoe!These are great hiking shoes, I have a wider foot and the wide width in 1/2 size up ended up being perfect. So comfortable, stable, hug the trail. Looks great too!
