The insoles in these NB Elipse shoes are nothing more than flimsy liners. And they make a squishy noise with each step - both shoes did it. A sneaker priced north of $140 shouldn’t require an additional purchase of quality insoles. Sending them back.

I usually struggle finding shoes with enough width, a tall toe box, and a narrow heel. I was surprised that the 10D was almost a skosh wide. The outside width was perfect, but a little give on the inside edge. Well-cushioned with average arch support. Note that I am not using these shoes for running, but as my primary walking shoes.
First time I had ordered this NB style, a brand that includes narrow widths I need. I found the thick soft and angled sole produced a sense of imbalance which would be undesirable on my walks especially if uneven surfaces. So I have returned them .

I have worn New Balance for decades, but something was off with this pair. They had strange ripples on the top, and they squeaked when I walked. Returned.
This is my second pair of the same shoes. I like them because they’re not as high-heeled as the Hokas. Super comfortable, and good looking, too.
Super comfy and stylish! Super comfortable shoes! I love the color way and have gotten multiple compliments. Fit TTS. I'm a true 7.5 but typically wear 8 in sneakers which fits great.
Nice sneaker: Very cushioned! A little tight for wide feet or a bunion. But good for walking.
