These are very tight from the middle of the foot to the toe area. Not roomy like the Ghost Max 3 unfortunately.

I was hesitant to order because I saw the reviews had these shoes at three stars but I don't regret the purchase. At least for me, they.. have been the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever owned. I wasn't sure about the rocker feature at first but after a few days I'm so used to it and it feels very soft and natural.. I returned another brand that sells the transport to because the rocker seemed very stiff and aggressive compared to these shoes. They're my favorite walking shoes but I can't rate them for running

Love the max 4: Super comfortable.. I work in a hospital and always on my feet.. these are my favorite style of brooks and I have the glycerin max and the ghost MAX 4 are way more comfortable. I have a narrow foot and the fit is perfect.. I can't say enough about them. My new favorite shoe

Too narrow! Like others have said, the toe box feels narrower than the max 3. I'm afraid a wide will be too wide in the heel area. Ugh...

Brooks Nurses!! I normally wear Brooks Ghost for my work shoes. I'm an ER nurse so I'm walking and on my feet for 12hrs a day. I did some research and so glad I switched to the Ghost Max - so much more cushion for walking and standing. It took maybe a couple hours to break in. I normally wear a 10Wide in Brooks and ordered my normal size. I got the all black with rose gold details and I get so many complements. 10/10 recommend!

I don't know what other people talking about being tight I got a 9 1/2 wide they fit amazing. I just got them today I put them on to walk to walk to get kid from school, they feel like walking on air they are so comfy
