Refillable Magic Night Moisturizer with Retinol

This stuff is like putting Vaseline on your face…does not absorb and is very sticky.

I got a sample of this with some other items recently and gave it a shot. While I like it as a night cream, I LOVE it using it in a way I’m not sure is intended. I use it as a night eye cream! I’ll start with some eye oil, then add a small amount of this cream (after warming it up on my fingers), then just a touch of my usual eye cream on top. I wake up looking amazing (instead of like a sea hag, which was what was happening before). It tightens the puffy spots, hydrates the dry areas (goodbye crepeyness), and seems to be helping with some age-related hooding. I know there’s an eye cream offered, but this is perfect for my needs.

I have been using this for YEARS and always come back to it. For those who feel its thick and goopy- the smallest amount goes a long way. You have to scoop, then melt it on your fingertips by rubbing them together and it will melt right into the skin. Excellent firming/protective cream. Works immediately and with nightly use it transforms your skin. Its perfection.

I love this cream. Once you get passed the strong unpleasant rose scent, it's a great cream. This is very thick, and petroleum jelly like, but better. It lasts all night for me and my skin wakes up feeling hydrated and soft . 4 stars because the price is heavy and I wish the fragrance was lighter.

I reeeeeally wanted to love this cream, but I strongly disliked it. The scent is strong and very perfumey, and the cream is VERY thick, to the point where my face was sticky all night and I actually washed it off the first use. I have quite dry skin too so I thought it would absorb but it did not feel good. Another issue was that I had a terrible reaction and got hives on my face and neck, but clearly I have an allergy or sensitivity to an ingredient in it. So I returned it. But the smell and consistency was enough to return it in my opinion.

This is saving my skin right now. Between the dry, cold air outside and the heated air inside, my skin would normally be very irritated and flaky this time of year. If your skin is in bad shape, no amount of makeup will look good. Just make sure you warm it up with your hands first before pressing onto your face. Then it will be easier to massage in. It soaks in but also leaves a thin layer on top which is what protects the skin. The scent once seemed strong to me but now I look forward to it. I guess because it works so well.

Gorgeous night cream for 40s skin. Smells like rose and plumeria faintly. I personally love essential oils so I love the smell. Thin application after a serum and it works like an overnight mask.

I got this product in a promotional kit and loved Charlotte Tilbury moisturizer so I gave this a try. At first, I did not like how thick it was but kept at it and now totally feel a difference in my face. You just need a little product to go a long way.

I dont know why this is so expensive. To me it just feels like castor oil that i am putting on my face and it did not be useful just a waste of money. My skin condition remains same.

Title says it all - it’s literally like rubbing a glue stick on your vase - thicker than Vaseline…and I have dry skin. Just icky experience overall, and the fact that all CT’s skincare is on sale tells me they’re getting rid of the line generally. Good riddance.
