Swanson made good digestive enzymes. Used their regular one and it worked great. Changed to another brand and not working well. Came back and tried this new variant and it works better than their regular one.

I have trouble digesting certain proteins, gluten being my main kryptonite that eventually coated the villi within the lining of the intestinal tract, the villi being what helps absorb the vitamins & nutrients from food. I developed many vitamin deficiencies due to the indigestible proteins interfering in my stomach in this way. These benefit my digestive health greatly, and my vitamin levels overall have been great after incorporating these and avoiding gluten. contains protease (digests proteins), amylase (carbohydrates) and lipase enzyme (for fats) and several other quality ingredients that aid in being able to get the most out of one's intake of food and digesting away anything the body and gut may have had difficulty with otherwise. the packaging is fine. I don't notice a taste but they do have a (not unpleasant to me) odor perhaps from some of the fruit derived enzymes?

This didn’t work for me but I’ve bought Swanson products for years and never had a problem with quality. I needed something else.

Its a good product but my pancreas did not agree with it. In the meantime I also started to take Swanson spleen and things improved a lot qua pancreas and intestines. But I did not have the guts to try it again. I have gastritis and gastroparesis due to lapband horror. Will come back to this one.
