Ive used Now brand products for many years. Theyve always had good quality products for reasonable prices. This amaranth falls under this fact also. Fresh, tasty and expiration date is well within date.

Knowing that Amaranth is effective against Candida, I ordered this one - my second bag by NOW Foods. From my use of this grain on a daily basis, I can recognize that this is a quality product. this amaranth taste is so good ,it is nutty and almost sweet. a great source of quality protein that keeps you full for hours with a lot of energy. I am very pleased with how fresh and how CLEAN the ingredients are. It's beautiful, golden and sweet smelling. the size is perfect and the package arrived in good condition.
I love amaranth in my morning porridge and this one had the most reasonable price compared to others. I tried other brands too and no difference in quality. I also enjoy it as popped amaranth.
I like these grains. I mixed it with it with millets to cook into porridge which is healthy and nice. A good substitute for rice
This is the first time I've bought and used amaranth, and though I don't like it much as a hot cereal (it's so tiny it's a bit hard to keep from going everywhere) I can tell this is a good quality product. Good packaging, fresh, decent price for a pound. I can understand why this grain would be excellent for holding together a granola recipe.
