I was looking for a nutritious, gluten-free grain to add to my rotation and amaranth is my new favorite. It has a unique, slightly peppery flavor and a texture that's perfect for a creamy breakfast porridge. I also love popping it in a dry skillet to use as a crunchy salad topping. It's a tiny but mighty grain that's surprisingly versatile.

I mix amaranth with quinoa in replacement to white rice. Rice makes me tired sluggish and sleepy and needed a replacement and found quinoa and amaranth mix gives me better performance throughout the day. A bit annoying when washing lol but so worth it. Fantastic product.
It has a bit of a butty flavour and may take some getting used to. It's definitively gluten-free and reseals well. It's a decent size. I like it best combined with other grains, especially quinoa and millet. It's one high-quality ingredient. I would definitely repurchase it as I want to incorporate more different gluten-free grains like this in my meals.
