Liver X®, 60 Vegan Capsules

I used to buy a different product for liver support, but I feel that capsules make for better absorption (always buy products with veggie caps, do not accept nasty gelatin capsules from any company!). This product has a good spectrum of fine liver support herbs and nutraceuticals, the two key ingredients being more absorbable Silymarin (the queen of liver herbs; actually helps regenerate liver cells) and Picrorizha Kurroa, the "hangover" herb that doesn't need to be just for alcohol detox; even those of us who don't drink much can benefit from its highly protective, liver-metabolism-aiding properties. I take two a day, one in morning and one at night, and when I support my liver this way, I have less GI distress and less sluggishness in general.

Back in 2018, i was diagnosed with an inflammed liver. My liver markers were all elevated. I decided to change my lifestyle and diet. Skip to a year later, i discovered this product. My overall liver function is back to normal now and no longer inflammed! High quality, safe ingredients and size.

Love the combo of ingredients - the Silymarin (milk thistle active ingredient), N-Acetyl-Cysteine, and Alpha Lipoic Acid are all excellent for Hep C. I take 2 capsules with breakfast, and 2 with lunch. My body seems to love this product. My liver biopsy results continually show no progression of disease.

I still believe you can get detoxing health benefits from this, but personally I have not noticed much difference in using this product. The newer and more effective form of ALA (R+Alpha Lipoic Acid) is not found in here and that's a bummer. This product is also not organic and the amount of pesticides being used out there is very alarming, and their residue can enter ground and surface waters like rivers and streams that people and wildlife use for drinking and also harms aquatic life along the way. So you risk exposing yourself to contaminants every time you use a product that is not certified organic. Organic is by no means perfect but it is a big step forward to stopping this sad and terrible cycle. Please 👍 if you found this helpful! 🌼

Both my husband and I have been using Liver X for years and years. We have the occasional beer or glass of wine and our blood work comes back very good when we are tested every year. This particular brand was recommended by someone ( can't remember who) years ago and it has not failed us. Highly recommended.
