Butyrate is produced by the beneficial bacteria in your gut, and you just introduce more into your system, skipping the bacterial production step; it will go where it needs to go at a cellular level. However, I am probably not noticing anything yet because I am on antibiotics yet again. Only been on this for about a month. It takes time to see the benefits, and in a severely compromised gut like mine, it may take even longer.
