The rating (one star) is not for the product, it was for the purchasing hassle. I ordered the item, discovered that the recipient would not be home the expected delivery date and tried to get the delivery delayed to prevent porch pirate problems. I was told that it was impossible. That's weird, because I was told Fed-Ex handles all of the order fulfillment and Fed-Ex clearly has a delayed delivery mechanism. So, I went to the Fed-Ex website and tried to reroute the package to alternate pick-up location (CVS), but only AFTER the reroute was executed was I told that the recipient had to have an address on their ID that matched the original deliver address - that wasn't possible as the receiving person was a guest at the delivery address. So, I tried to undo the re-route ---- that isn't possible. To resolve this problem, I had to cancel the order. The other hassle was that the ordering website would not accept a P.O. Box for DELIVERY (I receive Fed-Ex packages at my P.O. Box all the time). The next data entry box is for the MAILING address associated with the credit card used to pay for the order. Again, it would not accept a P.O. Box number despite that this is where my Credit Card Billing Address is located. So I had to use the PayPal option as PayPal has no problem with a P.O. Box as my credit card billing address. I'm guessing that Shiseido pays to use PayPal, so they lost profit on that transaction. In the end, I did not purchase from Shiseido, I purchased it from a 3rd party, with no delivery hassles at my P.O. Box.

Tried a sample and I loved it! I purchased it coz it really works on my sensitive skin. I bought this when they have a 20% discount! It's pricey but worth your money!

I usually don’t write reviews but I can’t do the same for this cream. This is worth every penny. It leaves your skin feeling like silk. It hydrates and moisturizes my skin like magic. I love this.

First time to try this! I have read the good reviews about this product ! Even though it's so pricey I still bought it to really see if it's effective. I've used Shiseido for many years and so far I love them!

However, it leaves my skin oily— so I use only a small dab. I've also noticed that my skin which is usually pretty free of bumps and has always been viewed as glowing and smooth— I now have tiny small bumps from clogged pores. Nothing major— but not usually the case. I stopped using the enmei serum because I thought that was the culprit for the oiliness thus causing clogged pores (that serum definitely leaves an oily residue) but now I'm saddened because it's this overly priced cream. Unfortunately the cost of the cream— I cannot see myself waste it— but if I paid a fraction of that cost I would discontinue use. (I have before with one of the benefiance and bio performance daily creams from shiseido for the same reason). I should have stuck with the LX day and night creams and bio filler night serum.
