Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai Wet and Dry Robot Vacuum | Black/Blue

Had the product for just over a month now and overall I’m very happy with it. General cleaning is good, the hot fresh water used on the roller works well on floors and the app is pretty good. This replaced a similar product from another manufacturer which used rotating mop heads that didn’t use fresh water all the time. The Dyson gives a far superior finish although you do have to use the Dyson (or non foaming) solution or it will leave dirty streaks on the floor from the foaming and dirty water tank. If you’ve washed the floor with a mop and general floor cleaner it does cause a foaming issue on the next clean, whilst initially frustrating, I’m now using the Dyson cleaning solution to counteract this. The design is smart, as expected, and easy to empty the dust bin and fill/empty the water tanks. It doesn’t clean corners and edges particularly well, but not many robot vacuums do. One frustration is it does not tell you that the tank is nearly empty or full and if you don’t check and it is, it won’t complete the next clean. I have it scheduled overnight and it’s frustrating when it hasn’t cleaned because the one of the tanks was empty or needed emptying. The tanks are quite small. This is a minor frustration though and wouldn’t put me off buying again.

It's OK, but I expected more from the brand and the price paid. Using the app is unfortunately necessary, you cannot just push 'go' and let it explore. I use it on 4 different surfaces - non slip tiles, low gloss tiles, high gloss tiles, carpet. Current things I dislike :- Does not effectively mop up melted chocolate or dropped buttercream icing on my non-slip grey tiles - which I truly hoped it would based on the advertised 'hot' water wash and 'spot and scrub' promise. Does not run a straight line along the kitchen cupboards - keeps doing that "let me try another angle and bump the doors" again and again leaving an obvious circular mop mark along every straight edge in my kitchen. Leaves streaks on my high gloss white tiles - I had to follow behind with the Koh mop (dry pad only) to buff the water streaks off. Dry time was too long on high gloss, so left obvious streaks. Takes a long time to mop and vacuum - can only do 10 mins before it must come back to its charge station and either wash the mop head, empty or recharge. Some sessions are 4 hours long. The unit is slighty too high to fit under my kitchen cupboard doors to clean along the base boards. No real instruction manual - you truly have to keep exploring in the app until you find out how to do something. Current things I like:- Pretty good job on the low gloss grey tiles - the dry time didnt show streaks on this colour/surface. The dry time on the non-slip grey tiles is quick too. The dirty waste water is sooooo black when I empty it, that I am shocked at how dirty the floor must have been in the first place. It is very quite I have yet to empty the vacuum debris collector (after 1 month) so it seems quite large. However, the water side needs emptying and refilling every time as my floor area is large. Washing the mop head clean and then drying it is very good feature and works well. I can even stop it part way through a dry cycle of the mop head, to start on another 'target' area.

It’s ok, goes through stages of having to take the wet roller out because it says stuck, so clean put it back only for it to say it again. Would I recommend it properly not as it’s very expensive and does not clean overly well.

I love the design of this robot vacuum. It’s incredibly stylish, impressively quiet, and the bagless waste bin is a great feature that’s quick and easy to empty without the ongoing cost of replacement bags. That said, it hasn’t performed well in my home. I live in a 300-year-old cottage with a mixture of hardwood flooring and traditional quarry stone tiles. The AI seems to mistake the natural colour variations in the quarry tiles for dirt, repeatedly cleaning the same darker areas instead of moving on. This drains the battery to the point where it couldn’t even complete cleaning just three selected ground-floor rooms before returning to recharge. The navigation also feels quite chaotic rather than methodical, and when it encounters larger changes in floor level it tends to thump itself over them, which is surprisingly loud given how heavy the unit is. The companion app is another weak point. Even simple adjustments involve navigating through far too many menus, making it more frustrating to use than it needs to be. Overall, this is a beautifully designed, quiet robot vacuum that I think would suit a modern home with consistent flooring, such as carpets or uniform wooden floors. However, if you live in an older property with traditional or uneven flooring, the AI may struggle, and that significantly affects the overall experience.

It’s amazing, even better that in the app your can choose what rooms you want done

Purchased two months ago, we have two ( spoilt rotten ) working dogs that live inside, hence machine gets a serious daily work out. Have had the occasional hick up but nothing serious, reluctant to climb onto a rug on occasions but I would still highly recommended.

Absolutely love the cleaning ability of my new Dyson scrub and spot. Runs daily and floors have never felt cleaner. Only issue is when the robot does the boundary of each room, it leaves a trail of dirty water drops from the dirty water bin. Also had to rejoin to wifi within the first couple of weeks which was painful. App interface could be better

I am extremely happy with my Spot and Scrub.I have white shiny tiles and they are streak free. It navigates around obstacles with great suctions on the grout the tiles.There is ample battery power to do the entire house. Love my Dysons.
