Alpha Lipoic Acid, 600 mg, 150 Veggie Caps

I have insulin resistance, that's why I bought these. I's just amazing how this particular ALA gives me energy, feeling of well-being, and my cravings and continuous hunger are completely unnoticeable . I have bought Doctor's Best ALA, but nothing compares with the effect that I get with this one. ALA from Doctor's Best contains a lot of fillers that makes me feel kind of sick. I will stick to Healthy Origins from now on.

Thanks to the gentleman whom recommended taking 600 mg of Alpha Lipoic Acid 2x's a day with CoQ10 100 mg a day my pain and numbness in the legs and feet are almost gone. I definately recommend both Healthy Orgins, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Doctor's Best High Absorption CoQ10 as he did. Alpha Lipoic Acid is great as an anti-oxidant. It is both fat and water soluble. But its real strength lies in protecting diabetics with neuropathy. I have been taking it for years and the pain I used to have in my legs has completely disappeared. I have been a diabetic since 1996 and my doctor is amazed at my condition. I am over weight (270 lbs on a 6 foot frame) and my hba1c is down from 7.6 now 6.2. I know this nutrient plus others have helped me greatly. My goal now is to get the rest of the weight off. I will definitely order what ever I need from iherb, their prices are the best. Also this is the best price I have found on Alpha Lipoic Acid anywhere.

I've had nerve pain for 2 years after a spinal fusion and discectomy. I never thought that this would end. I wasn't sleeping. In so much pain. I was miserable. I take them in the morning. Only side affect so far is that I feel awesome!!

Great product. My husband is diabetic. With alpha lipoic acid, he is able to reduce the amount of insulin used for the same blood glucose control and has no neuropathy. For me, with the known alpha lipoic acid effect of vascular genesis, at the age of 62, I still look 40! We both intend to continue using this product for the rest of our lives.

LS! I have been using this product for a couple of years. I have diabesity but my HBA1c is 43 and my blood pressure 130/80. I used to buy this product in the Netherlands at twice the price of iHerb. First thing in the morning, I drink glutathione, vitamin c, grapeseed and this ALA. It's for my liver health, I wanted to regenerate after many years of alcoholism. The unexpected side effect was lightening of my skin. You know I've always hated lotions and skin whitening creams, so I never thought I'd be "into skin whitening".
