I have autoimmune atrophic gasritis and one of its many effects is I can't absorb iron well and worse I can't take oral iron becasue it would cause not just too many symptoms, but also it would not get absorbed and also cause more damage . There is no medical solutioin except transfusion. I searched high and low and found this perfect solution Sublingual iron that is in readily absorbable form. I put it under your tongue , leave it there and hey presto after about 5 mins it has dissolved directly into my blood - bypassing my stomach - harmless , painless, quick and easy . now I am waiting to see how it helps my ferritin leels- but I know already it is helping me. I am very pleased with this brand of iron. I like the Superior Source products. The iron works well. I am thankful IHerb carries this product line. I will keep this quality product in mind if I ever need to purchase more iron. The taste can be pretty “strong” but then again it is iron!

This iron supplement is easy to travel with. It comes in a small container and is easy to eat on the go. my girlfriend does not like pills, and uses this as her backup iron supplement. It seems to be of high quality. It tastes ok. For the low price per serving, this product is great value.

Iron without the side effects. This is a lot more palatable than the conventional iron pills (even the slow release ones taste vile, or just look vile), and is a lot gentler on the gut too. Dosage is low enough that you can vary it - if you have heavy periods like I do, one a day might not be enough. As I have hereditary anaemia and low blood sugar, and am prone to fainting/ dizzy spells, this really is a life-saver. I travel with it and if I've missed, say, 2 days dose, I really feel the fatigue.

I have trouble absorbing iron on its own. So I now take this with methyl-folate and folic acid in the morning. My blood test for iron is finally within normal range.

I wish they had also vitamin c included in a formula, as without vitamin c iron absorbs worse. The size is convenient and easy to use.

tablet is easily dossolve in mouth kindda taste like blood - a little when it melts, it produce this tiny granule and then went away super easy to consume super small size

I like how it dissolves easily and quickly under the tongue. Tastes good too. Not sure if it raised my ferritin but I enjoyed taking it.
