Shark MessMaster Portable Wet Dry Vacuum, 1 Gallon Capacity VS101

Suction is horrible, won't even suck up a spider web. This is after cleaning the tank, the sponges, checking the hose for blockage. It sounds like it's doing something, however, it's doing nothing. Kind of like when you ask your kids to clean. They make noise like they are accomplishing something, only to find out their mess is even bigger now !!!

Fantastic suction and usability, but needs a longer hose - even as an optional accessory. So far no problems other than hose length, and I’d give it a 5, if I could order a longer one.

Easy to use, light weight and efficient. Love the ability to use any plastic bag for the catchment of debris and rubbish.

I liked the convenience of this little wet/dry vacuum. Unfortunately the hose broke after very little use.

I've been on the fence about spending the money to get a spot cleaner or a wet dry vac for the occasional dog messes. Until a few days ago when I finally made this decision after my 11-year-old dog had an accident on my sofa and the kids thought that somebody just spilled water. So it sat there for two days before I laid down on the sofa and smelled it. I decided to go with the wet vac because I don't mind using my own brush and elbow grease to clean up certain messes as needed. I need something that's got good suction to be able to remove urine and cleaner, enzyme-based, from the upholstery and foam and is easy to clean. It arrived via FedEx a couple of hours ago. The box was a bit crushed on one corner but the packaging inside protected the unit and accessories nicely. As soon as I opened the box I put it to work. I love how you can use it wet and dry at the same time no need to remove filters because the filter is not made from paper. It came with two plastic bags to start off and that was awesome because after I cleaned the sofa I decided to go out to my car and clean the passenger seat. It had been spot cleaned after a kid dumped a container of yogurt in it and I knew it wasn't clean completely and of course I decided to vacuum the floorboards as well. When I was done and opened up the top of the wet vac to remove the bag it was full of little pieces of leaves, sand dirt, and of course all the water and soap that I had sprayed down the sofa and the car seat with. I lifted the bag out tied it up, took a towel wiped down the inside of the lid, removed and rinsed off the orange filter screen, and now I'm letting it set to dry. I am so so happy that I finally made this purchase. I should never doubt Shark Ninja. Every product I've ever purchased, over more than a decade, has never disappointed me. So if you're a pet mom, a kid mom, or both and you're trying to decide if you should get a spot carpet cleaner or the wet dry vac I highly suggest this wet dry back the suction is unbelievable. The attachments are nice as well and I love that they clip to the side and the hose has a clip to wrap it around the lid like the cord wraps around the handle. Its light weight and much easier to maneuver than my previous shop vac that attached to a 5 gallon bucket. Its not overly loud, didnt scare my dog or bearded dragon in her tank behind the sofa.

Bought this a while ago and has been quite good, but honestly it's something that I would use more for a car as it's a little bulky and not very easy to manoeuvre. A stick vacuum or a motor head would be more suitable

Over balances and then has to be turned off completely and re started.

Very disappointing, the suction is good but the fittings dont lift anything out Good for wet vacuum use but definitely not dry vacuum. Overall not worth the money spent.

Only really used it one time but it served it's purpose

I bought this 2 months ago and since then it's been extremely helpful at cleaning up difficult messes. The power on this wet/dry vac is very strong, I haven't had any issues using it.
